Sil-Sol
Sil-Sol is a proprietary thinner developed especially for the lab as a safer alternative to solvents such as Naptha.
Use as a
- Sculpture aide to blend oil-based clay and create slurries to create texture
- Colouration aide to blend RTV silicones for permanently colouring silicone
- Fabricating aide to to create a ‘slushable’ casting silicones

Sil-Sol is a truly versatile workshop solvent which does NOT freight as dangerous goods.
Always use with good ventilation and appropriate filter masks or supplied air apparatus, especially when spraying.
