Tattoo Cover-Up
Tattoo Cover Ink Colours
Two alcohol-based formulations –
Fluid Inks are highly concentrated, perfect for neutralising and under-basing.
Spray Inks are pre-diluted for quick application, perfect for blending.
Mix and match – The choice is yours!
Never covered tattoos before?
– Step 1 – Brush or sponge on undiluted Fluid Ink over the tattoo itself.
Use a colour that camouflages or neutralises the tattoo you are hiding.
If necessary, use several coats, but don’t over-work the ink. Dry well.
– Step 2 – Apply suitable skin tone over the neutraliser, blending out into the surrounding skin.
Stipple Fluid Ink if more coverage is needed, or slowly build Spray Ink by misting layers. Dry well.
– Step 3 – Once the coverage is blended, use colours to adjust warmth and add colour variations – freckles, blood tones, moles etc.
Use Spray Ink for general colour shift and fine spatter. Use Fluid Inks for detailed areas of colour.
Please note that due to their transparent nature, our Translucent Toner or Transparent colours are not appropriate for tattoo neutralising, but can be used for adding soft colour variations in the final stages of tattoo cover.
Once finished, you might prefer to protect your tattoo cover with a mist of our Undetectable Satin Spray.
OK, we made it sound easy – and it is – but it does take some practice…
